Democrat National Chutzpah? DNC Files a Lawsuit Against Truth

In case you have been wondering, the C in DNC stands for chutzpah. Considering their latest gambit, to call the Democrat National Committee out of touch is a most severe understatement. I write this in light of the DNC’s decision to file a lawsuit against Trump, Russia and Wikileaks last Friday for interfering in the 2016 election. When I first heard the news, I had to check my calendar to make sure it was not April Fool’s Day. After I breathed a sigh of relief that I wasn’t caught in a never ending cycle of April’s firsts like Bill Murray on Groundhog’s Day, I then thought perhaps the article in question was written by the sharp minds at the Onion. It suddenly dawned on me that what I was reading was not satire nor was the breaking news a prank, the frauds at the DNC are actually suing everyone and their mama in their quest to “preserve the integrity of our elections” as they overlook the cheaters in the mirror.

Consider this breathtaking fact: the DNC is suing Wikileaks for revealing their “trade secrets”. In other words, the Democrat National Committee’s stance is that Wikileaks journalistic tenacity and daring to expose the Democrat party’s pervasive nepotism is actionable. You can’t make this stuff up! By the way, if you want to know why I refer to them as the Democrat party, it’s because I refuse to give the party of neoliberals an adjective they don’t deserve—there is NOTHING Democratic about them. As Ralph Nader once noted, “the only difference between the Republican and Democratic parties is the velocities with which their knees hit the floor when corporations knock on their door. That’s the only difference.”

On second thought, the C in DNC stands for Calgon because the Democrats live in a bubble bigger than Donald Trump’s pathological ego. The fact that the same party that rigged the primaries to ensure Hillary Clinton’s nomination and engaged in voter nullification in ways that hint at the era of poll taxes is now rising up to defend democracy is laughable on its face. I wonder if the DNC is engaging in willful duplicity or if they actually are unhinged enough to believe their own bullshit. Hubris has a way of turning even the most cunning minds into a band of dunderheads.

Perhaps they think we forgot what lead attorney Bruce Spiva stated in response to a lawsuit filed against the DNC by Jared and Elizabeth Beck. In one of the most astounding statements I’ve ever read—which was met with a collective shrug from mainstream media “journalists”—Spiva noted that the DNC is not bound by the will of voters. This is an excerpt from the actual hearing:

“There’s no right to not have your candidate disadvantaged or have another candidate advantaged. There’s no contractual obligation here . . . it’s not a situation where a promise has been made that is an enforceable promise,” Spiva noted. “We could have voluntarily decided that, ‘Look, we’re gonna go into back rooms like they used to and smoke cigars and pick the candidate that way.”

In case you missed it, what Spiva admitted in court is that the DNC is a private club that is not compelled by the outcomes of primaries in choosing their candidates. “There’s no contractual obligation here” means “f$*# off” in legalese. Even though I am continually dismayed that we currently have a petulant juvenile with the maturity of a fetus in the White House, I am nevertheless thankful for the sham of an election that took place in 2016. Finally, the mask came off! Outside of political dead enders who refuse to put down the red Kool-Aid, most Americans now know that our elections are no better than the fixed contests that are put on by tinpot dictators in developing nations.

When are we going to stop letting our political idols keep using us as backdrops and stage props to enhance their political and personal fortunes?

The incontrovertible truth is that our elections are a joke. American “democracy” has become an insidious production meant to give the public a pretense of representation when we have none of it. Both parties collude to manufacture consent by pretending to be responsive to public concerns. They hold town halls, partake in debates and submit their names on ballots—all of it is nothing but a show. Behind the scenes, the people they are answering to are the neo-aristocracy who are controlling our nation’s policies by weaponizing their wealth. The voices of the 57 million people who voted two years ago were rendered meaningless by the dark money that has hijacked our government. Citizens United has indentured citizens. We are being governed without consent; the 2016 elections—which headlined two candidates less desired than herpes—was proof of the citizenry's impotence in determining domestic and international policies. There is a reason why more than 70% of Americans who can otherwise vote refuse to do so. I used to think sloth and/or ignorance were the sources of people’s decision to abstain from ballot boxes. Now that I’ve removed the blinders of partisanship from my eyes and I have stepped back enough to assess our politics, I realize that the high rate of voter non-participation is grounded in rational decisions and that the delusion belongs to those who vote for either Democrats or Republicans. A vast majority of Americans have awoken to the fraudulence of our governance and would rather get a back massage by a grizzly bear before they partake in a kabuki dance of irrelevance. A ballot restricted to two equally malicious parties is not a democracy but a tyranny of false choices. Democrats and Republicans are engaging in racketeering in ways that make Al Capone look like a boy scout.

Given this reality, you would think the DNC would keep their mouths shut instead of inviting further public scrutiny into their mafia inspired practices. Leave it to the party that gave us NAFTA, the rise of the mega prison-industrial complex and the First Bank President to audaciously proclaim their intention to protect the integrity of our elections even as they actively conspire to “strengthen” (monopolize) our democracy. They might as well be pressing charges against truth itself. This is a time tested public relations ploy; when they can’t discredit the message, charlatans always attack the messenger. The DNC filing a lawsuit against Trump is akin to Jeffrey Dahmer condemning Michael Vick for animal cruelty. The only way the Democrat’s legal action makes any sense is if they are suing others for rigging elections by citing patent infringement.

We have entered into a political twilight zone where up is down, war is peace and Democrats are defenders of democracy. This lawsuit will most likely be laughed out of court, but it is nonetheless illuminating. Instead of cleaning up their homes and addressing their continued obsequiousness to Wall Street as they screw over their constituents, they would rather file frivolous lawsuits and grandstand in order to raise yet more money from stepping stones who Democrats insultingly refer to as their base. Somewhere in Chappaqua, Clinton is cackling while Obama is counting his Tubmans as he licks Richard Branson’s boots. Maya Angelou once warned “when people show you who they are, believe them”. Bruce Spiva showed us who the Democrats are, please believe him. #DemocratNationalChutzpah

If you have any doubt about who the Democrats are, just remember their roots to the Dixiecrats and you would realize that they have not changed that much. They have perfected paternalism to hide their malevolence. They are no different than Republicans.
